1) White / Yellow Petroleum Jelly find varied applications as an excipient in cosmetic and pharmaceutical formulations; some of which are:

TYPICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

1) Snow white to Yellow, translucent, odourless, when rubbed on skin and tasteless.

2) Preserves the integrity of the active ingredient used to get the desired result.

3) Soluble in Chloroform and Solvent Ether, but is insoluble in Alcohol and Water.

4) Smooth long-fibred structure is absorbed well by the body tissues ensuring that the active ingredient is effectively delivered.

5) Moisture loss resistance, High structural strength with oil retention property even at elevated temperatures.

PACKAGING:

1) 175 / 195 kg metal (MS) or plastic (HMHDPE) barrels

2) Neutral packaging available on request

3) Petroleum Jelly is filled in double liner food-grade polythene bags. This is to avoid contact between the material and the walls of the barrel.

4) Petroleum Jelly is also available without polythene bags in MS barrels with food grade epoxy / lacquer coated MS barrels

5) The choice of packaging for Petroleum Jelly will depend on the facility to unload the material at customers production site.

CONTAINER STUFFING:

1) Palletised container stuffing

a) Pack size will be 195 kg per MS barrel

b) 20 pallets can be fit in a 20 ft. container

c) 4 barrels can be put on a pallet

d) Total 80 barrels (15600 kg) can be stuffed in a 20 ft. container

2) Unpalletised container stuffing

a) Pack size will be 175 kg per MS barrel

b) Total 96 barrels (16800 kg) can be stuffed in a 20 ft. container
